The Polpharmа Group is Poland’s largest manufacturer of medicinal products and the leader on the Polish pharmaceutical market. For more than 80 years, patients, doctors and business partners have been putting trust in our company. The portfolio of the Polpharmа Group covers around 600 products, which are available in 50 countries around the world. We make prescription and restricted medical prescription drugs. We have a leading share in key therapeutic areas in Poland. We specialise in cardiology, gastroenterology and neurology. A significant proportion of our product portfolio are OTC (over the counter) drugs.
Our product range also includes dietary supplements, medical devices, cosmetics, and phytopharmaceuticals. We are developing in the field of biological medicines, which are the future of contemporary pharmacotherapy, in particular in treatment of diseases such as cancers or autoimmune diseases. We are also the largest Polish manufacturer of pharmaceutical substances which successfully compete on highly developed markets in the European Union and the United States.

We have observed the rules of corporate social responsibility since the firm began — before anyone used the acronym CSR. Our activity in this field intensified after 2000, when our company was privatised using Polish capital. For the last dozen or so years, we have been proving the value of following the idea of sustainable development by harmoniously reconciling business objectives with the needs of stakeholders: employees, patients, the medical and scientific community, customers, suppliers and local communities.
In 2014, we decided to systematise our CSR initiatives. We selected three key areas of CSR: serving patients and society, ethical business conduct and innovations and the advancement of knowledge.
We all feel responsible for our workplace and the quality with which we perform tasks. We fulfil our obligations with diligence and commitment. We care for company property and protect it from excessive risk. By keeping commitments and respecting trade secrets and confidential information, we form a credible and trustworthy organisation. We pay particular attention to the safety and quality of our products. We feel responsible for ensuring constant availability of the products we manufacture, in particular life-saving drugs.
Strict observance of the provisions of law serves as the basis for the Polpharmа Group’s trustworthiness and reputation. In each country in which we operate our employees are required to know and adhere to the applicable legal requirements. For us, honesty is also about acting in accordance with acceptable ethical rules and good practice. This is reflected by the way we communicate and compete on the market and by honest and trustworthy advertising and promotion of our products.

All of our employees and associates are obliged to comply with the principles of the Anti-Corruption Code. Our business partners, cooperating with us or acting for or in our behalf, are also obliged to act lawfully and to prevent corruption by following the principles of the Code, included in the Abstract from the Anti-Corruption Code.
Therefore, all our contractors and counterparties should familiarise themselves with the Abstract.
